Go on a walk
The easiest, most underrated date night. Fresh air for 20 minutes and talking about whatever comes to your mind does any relationship a world of good. Add one to your weekly schedule for an easy, no-overthinking way to spend some time together. And remember to discover new places! Don’t stick to the same route each time 😉
Create a couple questions game
Ask ChatGPT to give you 100 questions to ask each other. Tell it whether you want them light or deep and personalize any specific topics. Take turns picking a random number and having the other person read out that question. This is my personal favourite!
Go to the supermarket
Wait, don’t switch off! This is so fun. Go to your local supermarket and each pick out one thing for £5 or less for the other. You can create themes, for example, buy something that reminds you of me, or simply choose a random present the other person will like.
Go on a date
I mean the traditional type. Head to a hotel, order a cold drink and just sit and talk. It’s surprisingly fun, even if it’s simple. Extra points if you went there when you actually dated.
The alphabet date
Pick a letter and everything has to start with it:
B = burgers + bowling
C = coffee + cards
W = walk + waffles
(then next time another letter)
This is a little more out of the box, but a little creativity can leed to a lot of laughs and fun.
Dates don’t need to be fancy, just intentional about spending time together and having fun.
Pick one and do it tonight!
